OVER 50 people enjoyed a Christmas Quiz Night, which included warm mince pies and mulled wine, at the Winsford Centre, Halwill Junction recently. The final result was neck and neck until the final round, when the Winsford Lane Potholers claimed victory over the Parson's Knows team. The draw for the luxury Christmas hamper, for which tickets had been on sale for the previous couple of weeks, was made at the end of the quiz and was won by Mr Peter Hadden of Foxhole.
