BRIDGERULE Revel Week was opened by this year’s carnival queen Ella Cholwill.

Ella was crowned in Bridgerule Village Hall on Sunday, July 28, by Kacey the 2018 queen. Throughout Revel week Ella was accompanied by her attendant Phoebe Lucas, flower girl Erin Snowden and her two pages Harry Cholwill and Lenny Mounce.

Eleven-year-old Ella was a pupil at Bridgerule Primary and moves onto Budehaven Community School in September. She likes netball, going to the beach and being with her friends. At her crowning Ella said: “I’m looking forward to Revel week especially the carnival on Saturday.”
