Last week, Quaynotes Choir bade a fond farewell to choir member Val Evans who for family reasons was leaving the area. Val, a founder member of the choir, was a first class member of the sopranos, and in her day, quite an exceptional soloist. She and her husband Glyn, who for many years was choir conductor, go with everyone's best wishes for their future in their new home. Quaynotes chairman Ray Hughes is seen with Val Evans.
