Reception children from St Petroc's School, Bude, had a fantastic day out at RHS Rosemoor Gardens in North Devon last Thursday.
The children went on a scavenger hunt for signs of spring to help 'Rosie the Rosemoor fairy'.
The gardens were bursting with colour and the children soon had buckets full of petals, leaves, cones and all sorts of other treasures.
When they discovered the little Hobbit House in the gardens their imaginations ran riot with ideas of who may live there — a dragon, a dwarf, fairies, a dinosaur, an elf or could it be the Three Bears?
Their day was completed with a picnic in the sunshine and a play in The Copse.
