HOLSWORTHY Methodists made their own tribute to the memory of the late Queen Elizabeth II, with the creation of a foliage wreath.

During the morning service at Bodmin Street on September 11, taken by Mr Andrew Pitt from Bude, members of the congregation came forward to add flowers and leaves to the wreath, which is now placed outside the church.

Members of the public are invited to place their own floral tributes on the wreath, or add a flower available from the church porch.

Mr Pitt said special prayers for the late Queen and her family during the service.

The church is often open for private prayer.
