FIREFIGHTERS from Delabole and Bude were called to a property fire at Old Road, Boscastle, shortly before 4pm on Christmas Eve.

They found a fire within a two storey detached property measuring ten by three metres, involving a tumble dryer.

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a high pressure hosereel jet to extinguish the fire. Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service said the cause of the fire was accidental.
