MEMBERS of Bude Army Cadet Force have received promotions in recognition of their achievements.
Cornwall Army Cadet Force held the training camp at RAF St Mawgan, where cadets completed training and testing on a number of different subjects towards their star grades. Subjects included, skill at arms, shooting, map and compass, drill and turnout and first aid.
At the end of the weekend cadets were presented with their badges of achievement and promotions were awarded. Six cadets from the Bude platoon were promoted to a number of non-commissioned officer (NCO) ranks.
Three cadets were promoted to lance corporal, one cadet promoted to corporal, another was promoted to sergeant and the most senior rank was promoted to colour sergeant.
