CLASSES 1 and 2 from Altarnun, Egloskerry and Launceston primary schools performed at Launceston Town Hall on Friday, February 21.
Celebrating the work of legendary Launceston poet Charles Causley, the respective children took it in turns to perform.
A Launceston Town Hall spokesperson said: “It was so lovely to have the children of Class 1 and 2 of Egloskerry, Altarnun and Launceston Primary Schools here yesterday. They were celebrating the work of Charles Causley, music and performance.
“It’s our understanding that this was the first time the wider school family of the MAT (Multi-Academy Trust) have been together since the pandemic and we are proud that these local schools have this beautiful building available for events.”
An Egloskerry School spokesperson added: “We were so proud of our children in Class 1 and 2 today who were so brave being on the big stage at Launceston Town Hall and celebrating the work of Charles Causley, music and performance.“It was so lovely to be sharing this with our wider school family at Altarnun Primary School and Launceston Primary School. Thanks for having us!”
