ST Endellion will welcome the incomparable Budapest Café Orchestra (BCO), led by jazz superstar Christian Garrick, on September 24 at 7.30pm.

The band is known for their performances of traditional folk and gypsy flavoured music from across the Balkans and Russian-Klezmer, Romanian Doinas, Hungarian Czadas and beautiful ballads — including the theme to Schindler’s List and Waltz Lachrimoso.

The BCO is a music-driven phenomenon, a specialist performance-entertainment outfit, certified to enthrall audiences everywhere.

Their infectious energy will sweep the audience off their feet and they will stay in people’s hearts forever.

They will take the audience on a journey from one emotional pool to another — from a desperately tragic evocative and heart-rending ancient Jewish melody to a dance from Romania or Russia and all the fiery exuberance that goes with it.

Evoking vivid images of Tzigane fiddle maestros, with a few surprises along the way. The Budapest Café Orchestra life and gypsy campfires style concert is the next best thing to booking a holiday along the Danube.
