SHEBBEAR College Pre-School pupils were out and about on the huge campus this week for another visit to the senior school.
This week they visited the art department where Head of Art Mr Ashley Barlow showed them around the two large art studios where the senior school pupils were working on their creations.
‘Wow’ was the predominant word as the children explored the wealth of colourful artwork on display and were asked to say which paintings and sculptures were their favourites.
There was lots of excitement as the children explained why they liked certain pieces of work. They found out about how charcoal is made and how it can be used for drawings and it is safe to say that the abundance of wet paint on palettes and other art materials was more than a small temptation for the children.
