HARTLAND Art and Crafts Society was as popular as ever at its October craft show.

Formed over 30 years ago by local artists wishing to showcase their work, the thrice-yearly event sees locals and visitors swarm to Hartland Village Hall, raising money for charity in the process.

From silk paintings to Christmas decorations, and jewellery to wooden toys, some 20 local talents exhibited at the craft show.

Society member Denise Rowe said the event went well and there "were a couple of quite busy days".

Charities supported this year include North Devon Hospital Chemotherapy Unit.
