TO PREVENT plastics from Bude entering the seas and littering the local beaches, a shark cage has been provided for the public to drop their plastics into.

The cage, donated by shark expert Richard Pierce, can be found at Crooklets beach by Rosie’s Kitchen, and is being backed by A Greener Bude.

It is hoped the cage will prevent plastics entering the waters and contributing further to the plastic crisis.
