POLICE in Bude are investigating an attack on an elderly man on Tuesday, August 1.
Between 4.15pm and 4.45pm, the victim, a 92-year-old local man was assaulted while at the bus stop on The Strand. He suffered bruising to his face and was left shaken by the incident.
It is believed that the suspect was a white man of light build, around 5”8 tall and had two dogs with him, one believed to be a whippet. He was accompanied by a woman and two children.
It is believed that there may have been further witnesses to the attack. Police are appealing for witnessed and would like to hear from anyone with any information that could help local officers with their investigation.
