POLICE in Launceston have appealed for the public’s help in tracking down a stolen vehicle, which they said could be ‘hidden in plain sight’.

Police said the silver Ford Transit, registration number WF11 HGX, was stolen from a break-in to a commercial unit at Pennygillam Industrial Estate overnight between May 28 and 29.

They said the vehicle had not been seen since it was taken, and the vehicle is marked Lowley Engineering Ltd.

Launceston Police wrote on Facebook: “Whilst a large area it is thought that it may be in the North/South East Cornwall or Plymouth area having been left abandoned; however it could be anywhere probably ‘hidden in plain sight’.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101, quoting reference CR/35101/16.
