POLICE are appealing for information after £30,000 worth of diesel was stolen from a business premises at Bodmin Business Park.

It is believed the theft occurred sometime between midnight and 4am on Friday, February 26.

A Devon and Cornwall Police spokesperson said: "The targeted business backs on to A30 Callywith slip road. A light coloured, six or eight-wheel box lorry with a wind deflector over the cab, was seen to pull up in a layby, leaving Eastbound on the A30."

Businesses which hold/store fuel are being reminded to review their security.

Any witnesses, including anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the vicinity prior to the incident, or anyone with CCTV footage or dashcam footage of the area at the time, is asked to contact 101 or email [email protected] quoting crime CR/015028/21.
