THE Post Office at Holsworthy is on the move to new premises where it will operate as a new main-style open-plan branch with longer opening hours. It will be re-opening at Westcountry Cleaning Services and Supplies, 13 The Square — 160 metres from the present Post Office at 5 Fore Street. The branch will also sell cards and stationery. As part of Post Office plans to modernise the network and extend opening hours, the new Holsworthy Post Office will have three different styles of serving positions — one will be open-plan, one will be a modern screened position and the other will be an open-plan combination till at the retail counter where most post office transactions can be made during shop opening hours.
