THE Craddock Close Planting Event will work as an opening for the Craddock Close Informal Play Area and Community Space, in Holsworthy.

The event will take place on Thursday, July 28, with any members of the pubic wishing to attend meeting at 2pm. It is advised that those wanting to take part arrive fifteen minutes early for a brief talk.

This is a hands on event planting shrubs with local families and it is hoped they will want to get involved. Those who have organsied the event are trying to encourage children on site to respect the plants.

The event will involve helping local families to plant shrubs on their developed community space, whilst trying to encourage children to respect the plants and wildlife in their area. All children who help out and take part in this event will get a goody bags.

It will take place at Craddock Close in the main communal area.

The mayor Jon Hutchings and Holsworthy Town Council gardener/handyman George Orr-Wilcox will be in attendance from 1.45pm.
