A planning application has been approved for a sand school and stables in Woolley, Morwenstow.

The application (PA20/11529) was made by Mr George Thomson at Valley View, where the proposed site is based (land east of Valley View).

On Tuesday, February 16, Cornwall Council granted permission for the site to be built subject to conditions being met.

Most notably one condition was that: “The use of the stables and sand school hereby permitted shall be used for private purposes in connection with the riding of horses and no form of commercial trade or business including livery or riding school shall be carried out therefrom.”
