PUBLIC notices cover a range of applications, ranging from licensing applications for liqueur or entertainment to planning applications, roadworks and other works. Their intention is to inform communities of the latest plans in their area and such applications are considered for approval or refusal by local authorities. Here are some of the latest applications submitted to Cornwall Council in North Cornwall and Torridge District Council in Torridge.

LAUNCESTON: The road from Splatt to Cuckoo Cottage in Tresmeer is set for a closure in late June in order to enable ducting works to take place.

It will be closed from June 29 to July 1 between the hours of 7.30am and 6pm.

An alternative route will be signposted and there will be a retained access to properties for pedestrians and vehicles.

BUDE: A footpath is set to be closed in late June to early July for ducting works to take place.

Footpath 33 in the parish of Bude and Stratton will be closed between July 29 and June 2. The closure affects the path between the junctions of Holnicote Road and Broadclose Hill.

An alternative route will be signed on site.

LAUNCESTON: Underlane in Boyton, Launceston is set to be closed on July 1 for one day between the hours of 9.30am and 3.30pm in order to enable new fibre connection works to be undertaken.

An alternative route will be signed on site and there will be a retained access to properties for pedestrians and vehicles.

LAUNCESTON: North Beer Lane in Boyton, Launceston is set to be closed on July 1 for one day between the hours of 9.30am and 3.30pm in order to enable new fibre connection works to be undertaken.

LAUNCESTON: The B3254 between Tiny Meadows and Hendra Lane in South Petherwin is set to be closed overnight between July 2 and 3 in order to enable tree trimming and overhead cabling works to take place.

The road affected is the B3254 between Tiny Meadows and Hendra Lane between the properties known as Corner Cottage and the junction with Tiny Meadows.

It will be closed between 7pm and 5am during these dates and an alternative route will be signposted on site.
