PUBLIC notices cover a range of applications, ranging from licensing applications for liqueur or entertainment to planning applications, roadworks and other works. Their intention is to inform communities of the latest plans in their area and such applications are considered for approval or refusal by local authorities. Here are some of the latest applications submitted to Cornwall Council in North Cornwall and Torridge District Council in Torridge.
Annual General Meeting
The next AGM of Holsworthy Amateur Theatrical Society (HATS) will be held on Monday, September 22, at 7.30pm. It will be held at the HATS Theatre, Bodmin Street, Holsworthy, EX22 6BH.
Premises Licence Application
A premises licence application has been made for the sale and consumption of alcohol at a location in Launceston.
Tammy Nutley has given notice that they have applied to Cornwall Council for the grant of a prmeises licence in respect of the following address: Chings Alley Beer and Wine, Number 3, Chings Alley, Launceston, Cornwall, PL15 9TD.
In the application they are seeking a licence to sell and consume alcohol on the premises during the hours of 12pm until 9pm between Friday and Tuesday inclusive.

Vehicle licensing application
A MAJOR haulier is seeking permission to change their licence for a site near Launceston.
Pall-Ex UK Limited, of Victoria Road, Ellistown, LE67 1FH is applying to change an existing licence to add an operating centre to keep 42 goods vehicles and 37 trailers at 2 Lakeside View, Kennards House, Launceston, Cornwall, PL15 8QE.
Owners or occupiers of land (including buildings) near the operating centre(s) who believe that their use or enjoyment of that land would be affected, should make written representations to the Traffic Commissioner at Quarry House, Quarry Hill, Leeds, LS2 7UE, stating their reasons, within 21 days of September 10.
Representors must at the same time send a copy of their representations to the applicant at the address given at the top of this notice.
