THE application to convert the former ground floor of the Barclays Bank building in Holsworthy into two residential units has been granted.
The plans are for the iconic building, which sits at the entrance to Stanhope Square, to be converted into two residential units, with space for a retail unit.
Barclays ceased trading from the property on October 13, 2017.
The application to convert the building was submitted on October 11, 2018, by Mr R Heard with permission granted on December 11, 2018.
Work must be carried out within three years of the permission granted date.
