OUTLINE planning consent is being sought to build nine dwellings in North Petherwin.

The application submitted by David Curtis to Cornwall Council is for six affordable and three open market dwellings together with new access road and associated works on land West of The Laurels, Hellescott Road, Petherwin Gate.

Documents submitted to the local authority state the proposals for the affordable housing are for two semi-detached one bedroom bungalows, three two-bedroomed terraced and end terrace houses and one three-bedroomed detached dwelling, together with a new vehicular access and associated works.

The three open market dwellings would consist of two four-bedroomed detached houses and one three-bedroomed detached house and provision has been made within the application site for a local area of equipped play.
