RUGBY legend Phil Vickery will be presenting the young people of Bude with awards for positive community action in the Bude area this coming May.

So, do you know of any young person or people who are doing something positive for our community who should be recognised at the annual CATS awards?

After considerable success over the last eight years with our awards evenings, the CATS (Community Action Through Sport) committee are looking for more young people from Bude and the surrounding areas to be nominated for awards.

CATS are delighted to announce they will be holding their eighth annual awards evening on the Thursday, May 24 at the Parkhouse Centre.

Also presenting with Phil will be Mike Raven, European surf champion and Will Taunton-Burnett, Antarctic explorer.

In the past year CATS has grown considerably across Cornwall and Devon with 16 new branches! This is a testament to the impact that CATS awards have for young people.
