IN this week’s Cornish & Devon Post see how Launceston is fighting back against the decision to ‘temporarily’ close its hospital’s Minor Injuries Unit (MIU).

Roz May has set up a petition on behalf of the recently formed Launceston MIU Campaign Group. Back in 2017 Roz was part of the campaign group which helped abate the closure of the hospital during a local health service re organisation.

Now they are fighting back against the decision by NHS Kernow Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) to temporarily close the MIU unit until October.
