DESPITE the wind and a threat of rain, Tintagel United Methodist Chapel Fete went ahead on Friday, June 15.
A welcome was given by Tony Wills to those who had gathered together to hear Mrs Jill Nute from Wadebridge declare the fete open. Jill and her husband John regularly attended Tintagel Chapel until they moved home to Wadebridge. Following Jill declaring the fete open Molly and Sarah Kestell, presented her with a bouquet.
Arranged around the schoolroom were various stalls with cakes, garden produce, books, bric-a-brac and of course delicious refreshments. A good team of helpers helped to make the evening a success.
