ONE person was trapped following an overturned vehicle near Launceston.

Police were called at around 8.15am on Monday, October 28, following reports of a two-vehicle road traffic collision on the A388 near Launceston.

It was reported that one of the vehicles involved had overturned and a person was trapped.

The fire and ambulance services both attended.

Despite the collision, no serious injuries were reported.

The road was reopened at around 11am.
