A PENSIONER has been treated for burns and smoke inhalation after a flat blaze in Farnham last Thursday.
Neighbours and passers-by gathered as thick black smoke spewed out of the third-floor window, destroying the interior, before a window shattered onto the driveway of the West Street property.
The man in his 70s was pulled out of the flat by heroic neighbour Russell Hopwood, with the help of a man called 'Acer', who laid him into the recovery position on the pavement.
