BUDE RNLI's Lifeboat operations manager Chris Cloke had the honour of attending The Queen's Garden Party last week. Chris was selected to represent the charity at the event on June 3 at Buckingham Palace. Accompanied by his wife Jenny, he and other RNLI representatives met the Duke of Kent. Chris said: "It was a truly memorable occasion for both myself and my wife. The Duke particularly requested his best wishes be extended to Bude lifeboat station, together with grateful thanks for the valuable work we as a station do."
