During the British Red Cross Week (May 2 to May 8) a total of £2,106.11 was collected in Holsworthy and the surrounding villages.
Sylvia Gare, the flag week organiser, has expressed thanks to all the collectors for their support and those who helped count the monies: M Martin, J George, J Cauldwell, A Gould and B Cauldwell (treasurer).
She is also grateful to the staff of Holsworthy Post Office for storing the boxes after the collection.
