THE Higher Wharf Action Group, Bude, staged a highly successful Coffee Morning at The Parkhouse Centre on Saturday.

This proved to be a very friendly, enjoyable occasion with plenty of interesting, useful questions from members of the public and a great deal of evident and enthusiastic support, not only for HiWAG but also for the individual groups and canal societies who put on excellent displays.

Budehaven Community School is a key partner in the proposals for the Higher Wharf area, and so it was good to have student Ben Roberts's excellent rolling programme of images of all of the eleven groups.
