THE organisers of the inaugural Bradworthy Arts Festival week have said the success of the event, held during the early May Bank Holiday, has convinced them that it should become a yearly fixture.
"It was incredibly popular, with an estimated 1,000 visitors to the various venues," said Dawn Ensor-Brookes, chair of the event. "The artists and craftspeople were thrilled with the response they got throughout the weekend from families and people of all ages."
The event drew holiday-makers from as far afield as Ohio, USA, but was also very well supported by local people from North Devon and North Cornwall.
