October in Camelford means only one thing — it is almost carnival time. Organisers are urging people to “wrap up warm and head to Camelford on October 25” for the grand procession at 7pm.

All the proceeds from this year’s collection will help fund next year’s Camelford Christmas Lights.

The crowning concert was held on Saturday, October 4, at Clease Hall, featuring performances from local groups and talented entertainers.

Sally Walkey of Camelford had the honour of crowning this year’s carnival Queen, Izzy Sanders, and her attendants, who are excited to greet the cheering crowds during the procession.
