ARMY Cadets from Holsworthy have collected awards following the detachment’s annual inspection and a weekend training camp at Okehampton.
During the inspection, carried out by Major Bill Kelsall of 243 Field Hospital, Corporal Timothy Cottier was promoted to Serjeant and LCpl Izzie May to fill Corporal.
Sjts Cottier and Tilly Daniel, and Corporal Ben McKenzie received Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) certificates which are recognised by employers.
The weekend following the inspection, 31 cadets deployed to Okehampton camp undertaking assessments in military skills, expedition and first aid.
There were a multitude of passes at all levels including seven cadets from the basic training group who all received their first Army Cadet Force (ACF) badges.
