The weather certainly helped bring the crowds out for St Teath's carnival procession, which formed a colourful and noisy conclusion to a week of fabulous activity.
Events started on Sunday with a football fun session and the week also included a bingo evening, the village quiz, music with the Boscastle Buoys, Josh Kernow and The Belfast Busker.
The 'It's a knockout' competition was a riot of laughter and silly people doing silly things with water, wheelbarrows, buckets and tarpaulins. It kept a huge crowd highly amused before Josh Kernow entertained with his music.
A very popular activity aimed especially at the village children was The Great St Teath Gnome Hunt. On Monday night the village was invaded by gnomes who placed themselves around the village waiting to be found. Children armed with clues had the job of finding all their hiding places.
The carnival procession was a huge success. Led by David Jasper and Drumba Samba; three special guests of honour waved regally from the windows of a stylish Jaguar. Pearl Pluess, Sylvia Mewton and Phyllis Williams looked lovely in their designer hats.
Visitors from Liskeard, Camelford and Delabole were also made to feel welcome alongside many floats, walking entries, the pipes and drums of the Cornish Pipe Band, Camelford Town Band and the Trad Jazz Band.
Guests of honour presented the trophies and rosettes, including the St Teath Pre-school entry 'Not Quite a Hundred and One Dalmatians' which was judged best in show.
Organiser, Bob Fox said: "Our very special week ended as it began on the village green, this time with the entertainment provided by The Belfast Busker.
"The organising committee would like to thank all those who helped and supported the carnival and express their gratitude to the crowds of people who attended the events."
