THE rumours of bed closures at Holsworthy Hospital have been nullified following information from a workshop with NHS Devon that there are 'no plans to close beds.'

The workshop was attended by John Allen, Chairman of Holsworthy Hospital League of Friends and other interested parties.

Mr Allen said: "At the NHS Devon Workshop we were assured that there were no plans to drop from 20 beds to 10, and it wouldn't decide to without joint consultation with the league, hospital and GPs."
