NICK Gerry and Jamie Baker proved too strong for the rest of the field in Launceston Golf Club's Winter League, their 40 points in the final round on Sunday March 1 gaining them second place on the day, was enough to guarantee them a comfortable margin of victory over the four qualifying rounds played.
Their final score of 167 points was six points better than second place Roger Kellow and Mike Briggs.
