THE MP for North Cornwall has been appointed to a new role.

MP Scott Mann was appointed Parliamentary Under Secretary of State to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs on September 20.

On his new role Mr Mann said: “I’m very pleased to have been appointed to a role within DEFRA and look forward to working with colleagues to ensure the best for British agriculture and farming.”
