Marhamchurch Pre-School is now the proud owner of a fantastic new outdoor area, thanks to four years of fundraising efforts.

The children now have an exciting new space to explore which will enable them to develop and grow, giving them a great foundation for their future learning.

Nicky Rogers, Pre-School manager, said: “Over the last four years Marhamchurch Pre-School has been fundraising extremely hard to improve our outdoor space. Finally in September we achieved our goal and are now proud owners of a fantastic new outdoor area.

“We would like to say a big thank you to everybody who has been involved with this project. Heartfelt thanks to our committee, staff, and parents for their continued support, as well as Cornwall 100 Club Fund, Cornwall Councillor Community Chest, Marhamchurch Parish Council, Marhamchurch Revel Committee and Bude Farmers’ Market for their financial contributions.

“Thanks to Joe Grigg and Ben Teague for their volunteer work, not forgetting J W Landscaping for their super installation!”

The pre-school was judged ’Good’ in all areas of practice at its recent Ofsted inspection.
