THE Tintagel Supermarket — also known as 'Londis Tintagel' — is now heading into a new and exciting chapter that will truly benefit its loyal customers.

This well known store, previously run by Margaret and Andy Pascoe, has built up an exceptional reputation for great personal customer service to its customers and a range and value known normally to the bigger supermarkets. The store has recently been taken over and will form part of a successful national chain run under the popular Londis banner.

Adam Reece, managing director, said: "We recognise that Margaret and Andy Pascoe, the previous owners, have done a terrific job in providing an excellent service to the local community and beyond. Our mission statement is to build upon this level of service and grow the business to fulfil our customers needs and demands."

The new owners are very serious about the importance of their customers and will be putting them first, as Adam added: "We will base the business around our customers' needs, this is upmost in our minds."

The Tintagel Supermarket team will be headed up by Nicholas Wyatt, a supermarket manager with over 20 years' experience in providing a committed level of customer service to customers, together with the same team of staff that local people have got to know over the years.

Nicholas said: "We pride ourselves in offering the best level of service that is second to none. We are also aware that people wish to do their weekly shop with us and use us as a supermarket and with this in mind we are going to expand our range of fresh produce, deli and grocery."
