ST PETROC'S School in Bude has got the 2012/13 academic year underway under the guidance of new Headteacher Matthew Way.

Mr Way has been appointed from Stowe School in Buckinghamshire, where he was the head of boarding and senior housemaster.

He also taught history and coached sport, particularly hockey and cricket. Indeed, sport is one of his great passions and following the country's great summer of sport, he looks forward to ensuring that St Petroc's School builds on its already excellent sports programme.
