A NINE-year-old from Launceston has raised more than £700 for charity.

Nathan Peacock wanted to raise money for poorly children after missing out on taking part in Children in Need last November, so he decided to take part in the Launceston Santa Run during December. Nathan was joined by his grandmother, Wendy Bateman, and between them they raised £703 for the Children's Hospice South West.
