NORTH Cornwall MP Dan Rogerson met with the Government Minister for Public Health, Anna Soubry, on Tuesday to discuss the report into the Camelford Lowermoor water poisoning incident and seek reassurances that recommendations of further research would be acted upon.

The report by the Lowermoor water pollution incident sub-group of the Department for Health's Committee on Toxicity of Chemicals in Food, Consumer Products and the Environment was published in April. The report recommended further research into neurological conditions that could be linked the poisoning, as well as investigations into young people and unborn babies in the area at the time of the incident.
