THE guests and carers at the Bude Memory Cafe enjoyed a sing-a-long concert of memories from entertainer Trevor Howard on Friday, April 1. He played and sang requests and old favourites to the delight of everybody gathered. North Cornwall MP Dan Rogerson called in from his afternoon surgery, also held in the Parkhouse Centre, to listen, say hello and show his support for the memory cafe. The Bude Memory Cafe promotes the well-being of people with memory impairment, by providing social, enjoyable and stimulating activities in a safe environment. Staffed by volunteers, the cafe is free to carers and anyone suffering from dementia or memory problems.
