TORRIDGE district and town councils will once again be supporting local businesses and shoppers with free parking days in council car parks in the run up to Christmas — with a number of days for Holsworthy.
In addition to the many other dates announced, Torridge will also be supporting national ‘Small Business Day’ on Saturday, December 7, by providing free parking in all its public car parks for the whole day from 8am to 6pm — from 10am in Bideford. The small business day campaign is now in its seventh year with a focus on encouraging people to shop locally and support the many small businesses that help keep local high streets thriving as a place to visit, shop and eat.
There will be free parking in all Torridge District Council car parks on Christmas Day and New Years Day.
In Holsworthy there was free parking available on Saturday, November 30, all day in The Manor and Well Park car parks for the town’s ‘Big Switch On Event’ and Christmas market in The Square courtesy of Holworthy Town Council. Future dates include Christmas Eve [Tuesday, December 24] all day in The Manor and Well Park car parks.
