THE Torridge and District Motorcycle Club held its annual Rene Pearce Charity Trial on Sunday, July 21, at Hessaford Farm, in Kilkhampton.

The event was held at Hessaford Farm with kind permission of John and Gill Sabotig and this year was raising money for FORCE cancer charity, based in Exeter.

FORCE believe that anyone diagnosed with cancer deserves the best possible treatment and professional support, face-to-face and close to home, so it was deemed a very worthy cause.

Sixty-eight riders entered the event and had a great days competition. All the profit — after expenses — from the event were donated by the Torridge and District Motorcycle Club and when added to the very generous donations from riders and helpers etcetera the club raised a magnificent total of £1,037, plus another £33 from online donations making the total raised £1,070.
