BUDE Motor Club has celebrated the success of its recent annual Motor and Classic Show by donating £1,200 to its 2014 charity, Soundwaves South West. Held at Bude Rugby Club, the show has grown every year since the organisation's first event in 2009 with the latest the biggest so far. More than 400 vehicles of all shapes, sizes, types and ages were on display, including almost 100 motorbikes, putting the show firmly on Bude's annual events calendar, and that of many local motor enthusiasts. A spokesperson said: "What makes the event unique, is that there is no entry fee for vehicle exhibitors or spectators — the club simply asks for voluntary donations via collection buckets for its annual charity —anyone with a vehicle that is interesting or a bit different is welcome to bring it along to display by simply turning up, encouraging those who don't normally display at car shows to come along and experience being part of a motor show."
