OVER the past several months the Holsworthy Family Workshop Resource Centre has been holding a series of community workshops to create a mosaic illustrating aspects of the lost history of the town.

This was made possible by a grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund and following research into the old windmill, which was demolished in 1890, the half acre labyrinth or maze located near the Manor and the Holsworthy branch of the Bude canal.

The mosaic was made up of hundreds of pieces of broken crockery contributed by people of the town.
