THANKS have been expressed to all those who took part in the Great Atlantic Walk recently.

From Crooklets beach to Sandymouth, walkers, including North Cornwall MP Scott Mann, trekked along the coast line to raise money for the Bude Rotary Club.

A spokesperson from the club said: “Thank you to Scott Mann for joining us on the walk, thank you to those who marshalled the route and to the ladies of Inner Wheel Club of Bude for assisting with the registrations etc.”

MP for North Cornwall Scott Mann said it had been a pleasure to join such a worthwhile walk. He added: “It was a pleasure to join Bude Rotary Club for their Great Atlantic Walk. It’s always lovely to be out and about the constituency in the sun and I had some great conversations with those taking part. I’m grateful to the Club for asking me to join and to everyone who helped out on the day.”Seventy-two walkers took part in the walk and raised £216 for the Rotary Club.
