THE 29th Halwill Flower and Produce Show was held last Saturday with 540 entries.More than 100 people came through the door to view the show and take part in the successful raffle.

There was the usual suggestion sheet available for exhibitors and the public to contribute ideas for next year.

The cups and prizes were presented by Gordon Aegerter, former owner of Station Road Garage, until his retirement.

Dennis Hunt Novice Shield exhibitor with overall highest number of points who has not won a cup at show before, Anji Hall.

Parish Council Cup overall highest number of points in show, Brian Wonnacott with 88 points. Mike Crocker was second with 75 points and Grenville Gerry third with 54 points.
