FOLLOWING their successful Easter Egg Run, Moorlanders Motor Cycle Club (MCC) has been visiting care homes and children's charities to share out all that was collected by the event.

The highly popular egg run collected over £5,500 this year.

Some of the Moorlanders visited the Area Resource Base of St Stephens Primary School in Launceston earlier this week to hand over some money.

Richard Hallett, the Moorlanders' vice chairman, said: "We couldn't have achieved this without the overwhelming support from bikers taking part, local businesses contributing prizes and to our corporate sponsors.

"It has been our pleasure to visit the hospitals and care homes delivering chocolate eggs. The children of the ARB (Area Resource Base) special needs unit at St Stephens Primary School were delighted to see the bikes, and we presented them with a donation of £1,000."
